GLUTATHION INFUSION

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body from damage and can be used to treat a wide range of health conditions such as improving pigmentation, patches, scars & melasma for skin that is even, lighter & brighter.

    WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?


    1. A detailed consultation is carried out by our doctors who assess concerns, expectations and indicate treatment areas.

    2. An IV is placed and is connected with the saline bottle that has the required ingredients added

    3. The IV infusion is started at a slow rate for the first 10 minutes to observe for any reactions

    4. If no reactions are seen, the IV infusion is continued till the prescribed dosage is done.

    5. The IV is then removed and the area is cleaned and bandaged.

    6. The results are usually seen atleast 3 weeks after treatment.

    THINGS TO REMEMBER


    BEFORE

    Do not consume any alcoholic beverages for atleast 24 hours prior to the treatment as alcohol may thin the blood, increasing the risk of bruising. Avoid any anti-inflammatory/blood thinning/anti-coagulant medications for atleast 2 weeks before & after the treatment. Please consult with your physician if this is possible before going ahead with the procedure. Please provide all information regarding any additional supplements that you are taking in order to avoid potential side effects due to any interactions. Please let the Doctor know if you suffer from asthma as the treatment might trigger asthma attacks.

    AFTER

    Avoid alcohol consumption for 12 hours. Avoid exposure to sun during Glutathione treatments. Regular use of the prescribed sunscreen & moisturizer is advisable. Do consume a lot of water & add fruits that contain Vitamin C to your daily diet.

    SIDE EFFECTS

    Uncontrolled intake of Glutathione can cause lowering of Zinc levels.

    NOT RECOMMENDED IF

    You are pregnant or breastfeeding. You have a known sensitivity to Glutathione.
